While we provide resources and share best practices for success, our coaching sessions are geared toward increasing our clients’ self-awareness through a process that enables them to reach conclusions and make decisions as opposed to having a consultant make such decisions for them.

Getting Started

Epicoach is happy to provide a complimentary, 30-minute session to prospective clients to see if there is a good fit. We typically recommend that the first session be in person. Succeeding sessions can be in person, via Zoom, or via telephone.

Subsequent Sessions

We customize programs for each client, and the number of sessions depends on individual needs. To optimize a successful outcome, more than one session is typically required, and our approach is to be flexible and adapt the anticipated number of sessions as needed.

Each session begins with a request for the client to provide guidance. “What would you like to cover today?” is a typical opening question from Bob. The client helps set the agenda and also outlines how she/he would define an effective session.

As the session nears an end, the coach asks, “Did we accomplish everything you wanted to today?” The coachee will often then agree to certain “homework” assignments during the time between sessions. Each succeeding session builds upon the prior one as the coachee gains greater insight and understanding into her/his potential and how to unlock it.

As warranted in certain cases, Epicoach will step outside the coaching role to provide concrete advice to help a coachee with a specific issue.


Because our time is our most valuable commodity, we require 24 hours’ notice if you must cancel an appointment. However, we recognize there may be extenuating circumstances such as illness, so we will forgive the initial cancellation within 24 hours. Thereafter, you will be charged the full amount of the session for any cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session.


Before we begin, we will work out a specific payment arrangement. Coaching is typically charged by the hour/session.


We follow the guidelines of the International Coaching Federation with respect to confidentiality, and the content of our sessions is 100% confidential. If your sessions are being paid for by a third party, such as your employer, we will provide that party with a log that outlines the number of sessions held, the charge for each one, and the length and date of each.
